Before we process your first Moment
When you capture a Moment (a photo, video, voice recording, written story, or document), the content of that Moment is sent to one or more AI services to transcribe, read, describe, or summarize it, and to help you find it later:
- Anthropic Claude, via Amazon Bedrock (Australia region only)
- Amazon Transcribe, for voice and video recordings (Australia region only)
- Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence, for documents (Australia region only)
- Amazon Titan, to generate a search index of your own Moments (Australia region only)
These providers process your content under zero-retention terms: your content is not stored by them beyond what's needed to return a result, and is never used to train their models. It stays within Australia. Nothing you capture is shared with anyone else unless you explicitly create a share link or invite a viewer.
You can withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account, which deletes everything recorded about you.
If you'd rather not, that's okay — but Legacy can't work without this: every Moment you capture is processed by these AI services to turn it into your archive, so without accepting you won't be able to capture or process anything.
